![]() ![]() This agreement states that you will take proper care of your new dog including future vet care when needed. All money from adoptions goes directly back into saving more dogs.Īll adopters must sign an adoption agreement when adopting any of our dogs. Please also note, no one in this organization is on a salary of any kind through the rescue. The adoption fee is on a cash basis and is non-refundable. It is vitally important to us that our dogs go to the best homes possible, so our prices are set to assure serious applicants only. Please understand all prices include the dog being fully vetted and health checked. We make every effort to make sure prices are fair for each dog. Puppies are the highest because they take the most care and vetting before being adoption ready. We do list this for each dog in the discription. Our adoption fees range from $200-$1500 depending on the dog. You will receive paperwork to bring to your vet, so you will know when their next set of shots are due. The only exception would be puppies, and they will be fully up to date on their vaccines for their age. All dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption which includes spay/neuter, microchiping, all vaccines - Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLP - along with heartworm check and the first month of preventative. We also will inform you before adoption, if you have decided to adopt a dog that does have a known health issue. While we cannot guarantee life span, we do make every effort to assure our dogs are in good health. An “invisible or underground fence” will not be accepted as a fence. Any app that has a doggie door and no fenced yard will not be considered. All fenced yards must be fully fenced, recently checked for holes/gaps and secure enough that a small dog cannot get through. We require a fenced yard to adopt, except in certain circumstances that will be at our discretion. We continually get Boston Terriers into our rescue and may get in an even better match for your family very soon.) We will always let you know before the home visit if the dog you are interested in has possibly been spoken for, and will still encourage you to get pre-approved. We only mark dogs pending adoption if the potential adopter has passed all aspects of the application process and we are just working out a pickup date or we have received multiple, promising applications for the same dog. (Please note that just because a dog is still on our page does not mean it has not had application put in for it. (Also, if you are interested in fostering to adopt please let us know, and we will work with you on that process as well). Pre-approval will put you ahead of new applicants. If a dog you are interested in becomes available you will just need to contact us to let us know you are interested, and we will work with you. If you are just in the process of being pre-approved for a dog, we will put you on the list of pre-approved adopters. If the dog you want is already available we will work out a time for pickup. ![]() The time this takes depends on your schedule and our volunteers’ availability, but at this point you will be in the loop about the scheduling.Īfter a successful home visit, we will then contact you and let you know. If everything checks out well, we will then contact you for a home visit. You are welcome to email us to check on the status of your application, but please allow at least 3 days before doing so, we do work hard to process applications as fast as possible.Īfter we have reviewed your application we will then put in a call to your veterinarian and personal references. We all have day jobs to pay our bills so that we can save Boston Terriers at night. ![]() Please remember we are a 100% volunteer based organization. You should receive a confirmation email when your application has been received. We process all applications in the order they come in and try to process them as quickly as possible. You will be asked to pickup any dog you are adopting where ever it is being fostered to make it easier on our volunteers.įirst we will take time to review your application, and depending on the current volume of applications this could take 5-7 days. Because of this we have dogs being fostered throughout the state including, Muskogee, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. We are just a group of dedicated volunteers trying to save as many lives as possible. We do not have a facility for our rescue. Most of our dogs are very sweet Boston Terriers that have just fallen on hard times and need someone to love them.Īll our dogs are in loving foster homes until adoption. Our main goal is to re-home these Boston Terriers into loving homes so they will never end up homeless again. Our Boston Terriers come to us from local shelters, owner surrenders and as strays. ![]()
